31, 2012 – Donald Goldstein, global chief
information officer of CBRE Group, Inc. has been named Advisory Council co-chair
of Realcomm 2012, an annual technology conference for the commercial real
estate industry and IBcon, a new, co-located conference dedicated to smart,
connected, high performance, intelligent buildings.
Members of the Realcomm Advisory Council includes some of
the most influential commercial real estate technology executives in the
industry. As co-chair, Mr. Goldstein and his partner, James Whalen of Boston
Properties, will assist in critical industry issue identification, advise on the
development of the educational sessions for both conferences, and
work with other Council members to develop 2012 goals and
objectives.

11 years with this organization, representing some of the brightest minds in
real estate automation,” said Mr. Goldstein. “Together, we will accelerate the

Mr. Goldstein leads CBRE’s company's technology strategy,
information services delivery and customer technology solutions. He joined CBRE
when the company acquired Trammell Crow Company, where he previously served as
its CIO. In his 28-year IT career, including 13 years in the commercial real
estate industry, Mr. Goldstein has held various management and technical
positions with large global firms in the financial services sector. He is a
graduate of Johns Hopkins University with an MBA from Loyola University
Maryland.
