Asli Alptekin Selman is head of the retail department of CB Richard Ellis Turkey. She is responsible for valuation and market research activities as well as assisting with the marketing of retail properties with regards to leasing, acquisition and disposal. Asli has a detailed knowledge of the Turkish property markets, and is a keen observer of the retail scene in Turkey. She has traveled extensivley within Europe.
Achievements Asli originally worked as Product Manager for professional companies in the Turkish construction sector who supply high-class building materials for the market. Following this, she started working for Yapi Kredi Koray GYO A.S., one of the first Real Estate Investment Trust set up in Turkey in 1998. As the Manager of the Product Development Department in Yapi Kredi Koray, she had a leading role in the development phases of residential and commercial projects as well as creating concepts and preparing feasibility reports. She also had the responsibility of leasing the first shopping centre project of the company. Asli joined the CB Richard Ellis team in April 2007 where she is involved in research, valuation and investment services. Her recent assignments since joining CB Richard Ellis include market research for SCC and valuation of the Cevahir, Denizli and Carrefour Merter Shopping Centres. Alsi also monitors the management of the Elysium Shopping Mall.
