CBRE Technical Services is the full-service maintenance and engineering arm of CB Richard Ellis, with more than 1,400 technical professionals whose expertise extends to office, retail, industrial, manufacturing and special-use facilities.  Among the programs provided to clients are:

Safety Program – OSHA-certified safety trainers offer a full range of programs and Internet-based safety training courses.  In addition, technical experts perform annual on-site hazard assessment audits to ensure eradication of unnecessary hazards as well as ensuring that staff members are appropriately trained to handle hazardous materials required for operations (e.g., refrigerants), thus reducing any potential risks for staff, tenants and owners.

Technical Training Program – A full range of Internet-based technical training courses is provided for all building engineers, with a concentration on strengthening all areas of technical expertise to improve maintenance and reliability of building equipment.

Annual Building Technical Audit – This yearly on-site audit reviews all aspects of the engineering services function, culminating with a written report to the building management and owner.

Internet-based Work Order Management and Preventive Maintenance Program – Through this fully automated electronic platform, tenants can input work orders and check the status; management authorizes the orders, which are dispatched directly to building engineers via hand-held pagers.  Using Web-based speed and efficiency, tenant satisfaction and workforce productivity increase.  Routine maintenance orders also are dispatched automatically on a prescribed schedule.

Local Technical Operations Manager – An experienced Operations Manager acts as a direct resource, overseeing building engineers with program implementation, assisting with troubleshooting and adding valuable input to capital budgets, with a specific focus on the complex technical needs of modern commercial buildings.
