Professional Affiliations / Accreditations
- Ms. Mackay is a member of CoreNet Global, Commercial Real Estate Women and the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association. She currently serves on Real Estate Forum’s Corporate Perspectives Editorial Advisory Board and is a past member of CBRE’s Americas President’s Advisory Council. She formerly served as Director and past President of the CREW San Francisco Board of Directors, a member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Workforce Housing Loan Fund Technical Advisory Committee, and as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Institute for Leadership Development. She has also guest lecturer at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and served as a course instructor for CoreNet and the California Redevelopment Association. She frequently speaks to commercial real estate associations on a wide range of real estate issues. Ms. Mackay was selected as one of Northern California Real Estate’s 2009 Women of Influence, as well as Institutional Investor News’s “Top 20 Rising Stars of Real Estate” for 2008 and was honored as Commercial Property News’s “Stars to Watch” in 2005.
Education
- Ms. Mackay holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Harvard University, Department of Government, 1989, where she was a John Harvard and Elizabeth Cary Agassiz Scholar. She also earned her Master of Public Policy degree, with an emphasis in real estate and land use economics, from the Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California, Berkeley. She has continued her executive training through Harvard Business School’s High Potentials Leaders’ Program.
