Lynn M. Sedway, CRE, is Executive Managing Director of CBRE Consulting, Inc., the successor entity to Sedway Group, the real estate and urban economics consulting firm she formed in 1978. Since founding the firm, she has led its consulting practice – which includes market studies, highest and best use studies, economic and financial analysis and fiscal assessments – which has earned an unsurpassed reputation in its field for innovative thinking, sound research and objective advice.
Ms. Sedway’s major areas of specialization include public-private partnerships, negotiation, redevelopment, market studies, complex valuation analysis and corporate real estate. She also has extensive experience in evaluating market trends for major land uses, including residential, retail, office and mixed-use projects, and has testified as an expert witness in the areas of market and financial feasibility, valuation and real estate economics.
Ms. Sedway is a frequent speaker at major real estate conferences. Among her professional affiliations, she is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Urban Land Institute; a past president of the Golden Gate Chapter of Lambda Alpha, an international honorary land-economics society; and a member of the Counselors of Real Estate. She is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
