Professional Experience Karen Ellzey is the Executive Managing Director of CBRE’s Global Client Strategies Organization. The team is organized to deliver tailored strategies to corporate real estate organizations through a core team of platform consultants, as well as through embedded, and project-based resources located all over the world.
Karen brings 20 years of consulting, communications and management experience to her role. Throughout her employment with TCC and CBRE she has focused on delivering corporate real estate solutions focused on outsourcing strategies and structures, organization design, service delivery process design, and alliance management. Recently, Karen has broadened her focus to include workplace strategy and workplace change management.
A seasoned facilitator, Karen was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Best Practice Playbook platform which includes a suite of real estate activities including portfolio optimization, transaction management, and project management. She recently oversaw the development of a Merger and Acquisitions Playbook for Real Estate Professionals with a major client, which garnered both firms a CoreNet Global Innovator Award.
Karen served as one of seven research track leaders for CoreNet’s Corporate Real Estate 2010 initiative, heading up the Integrated Resource and Infrastructure Solutions research effort. She received extensive recognition for her contribution to this work.
