My name is Michael Young and I am fifteen years old. I am putting on a very exciting and worthwhile community service event, which will benefit the Phoenix Children’s Hospital  Animal Assisted Therapy Program. So, what is so special about the program, and why should you support my 4th Annual “Swing Fore Kids Golf Classic”, that will take place at Wildfire Golf Club,
on April 24, 2009? The program helps children at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH) cope with the stress
of having treatments such as chemotherapy, surgery and long hospital stays.

Showing your support for this golf tournament can make a difference in the lives of so many kids, because this program is completely supported by donations and money from fundraisers, such as this one. My goal is to exceed the $65,000 raised last year, to fund and expand this program for the 2009-2010 year.

If you are wondering why I have chosen to help PCH, it is because I have personally known many kids that have had some type of treatment there, and whose lives have been touched by these animals. I am very grateful to the hospital for helping so many children and their families. I am also an animal lover and know what an impact they can have on your life. The certified animals that are a part of the program do make a difference! Don’t YOU want to make a difference, too?
