Mark Bauer has specialized in commercial office sales, leasing and tenant representation in Phoenix, Arizona since 1988. In May of 2001, Mark joined CB Richard Ellis as Vice President and has risen to the level of Senior Vice President (January 2008). His experience includes an in-depth knowledge of data center and telecommunications industries that assists clients with their mission-critical primary data center and disaster recovery needs. Mark has established himself as a master leader and recognized expert in his field. He is a practice leader for the CB Richard Ellis Technology Practice Group (TPG) www.cbre.com/tpg that focuses on representing companies with their real estate planning and the execution of mission-critical data center relocations and expansions.

Mark was involved in the transformation of the "Arizona Republic Building", a ±400,000-square foot printing and headquarters facility, into a world-class telecom/data center facility, located at 120 East Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona, which was sold to Digital Realty Trust in July of 2007 for $175 million.

Mark was a vital part of the SkySong Center Project located at the intersection of Scottsdale and McDowell Roads. SkySong is a mixed-use project consisting of ±1.2 million square feet of office, research and retail space and a hotel/conference center at full build-out. SkySong is a center like no other in the world - a place where business and innovation merge to become one and the same. SkySong attracts knowledge workers and corporations from around the world, creating a thriving work community that integrates academia with commerce, developing an interactive relationship between mentor and supplier and start-up technology companies and professional support. CBRE Phoenix, the City of Scottsdale, Arizona State University, The Plaza Companies, DMJM and Higgins Development helped see this project through to its successful completion.
