Courtland Mines The International Mining and Metals Group of CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (CBRE) has been retained as the exclusive financial advisor for Hope Mining and Milling Company, owner of Courtland Mines.
The Courtland Mines property consists of thirty patented mining claims on 545 acres in the Turquoise Mining District of Cochise County, Arizona. This district is located in the southeastern fringe of the Dragoon Mountains and was first developed in the 1880s. Mineralization includes various oxide and sulfide forms of copper, lead, zinc and gold. Historical production in the district ended in the 1950s. The latest mineral exploration of the property was conducted by Newmont in 1998.
In addition to the possibility of mineral exploitation, the property has considerable development potential. It sits largely in a scenic valley that gently slopes to the west of an improved dirt road. Access exists from several directions and paved roads are only 6 miles distant. From that point, it is only another 35 miles to Interstate 10, the major east-west thoroughfare traversing Southern Arizona.
