James is the Founder of the CB Richard Ellis Hispanic Network. The Hispanic Network focuses on building meaningful relationships amongst CBRE Hispanic employees and the community to leverage entrepreneurial capabilities, increase professional development and business opportunities. The goals of the Hispanic Network are to provide its members networking and information exchange opportunities; create opportunities for individual career development; recruit more minorities into the company; and position the Hispanic Network as a vehicle for community service and outreach.

Mr. Rodriguez began his career in commercial real estate in 1993.  He gained 6 years of retail brokerage and development experience in the Hispanic Market before being recruited by CB Richard Ellis in 1998.  He was previously Director of Acquisitions and Leasing for Comstock, Crosser and Associates, focusing on retail development opportunities and the expansion of their Top Value Market and Value + Food Warehouse chains.

Mr. Rodriguez has been involved with over 40 shopping center/retail developments totaling more than 5,000,000 square feet and continues to focus on tenant representation assignments with retailers focused on Hispanic niche markets.
