Walt Chenoweth is a 26-year veteran broker at CB Richard Ellis, specializing in sales and leasing of large industrial buildings in Southern California and across the country.  In his work representing developer/property owners and multi-market corporate users, Mr. Chenoweth demonstrates a deep understanding of industrial market dynamics, particularly in the port-driven markets of Southern California.  He is known among his clients and peers for his unwavering work ethic, a commitment to process and quality, and a proven ability to exceed client expectations on every level.

In addition to their landlord representation work, Mr. Chenoweth and his team members, Frank Geraci, Juan Gutierrez and Patrick Wood, have established a strong reputation in industrial tenant representation, primarily with multi-market corporate users.  Recently, the team represented 12 of the 25 largest industrial transactions in the Greater Los Angeles area, handling the tenant side of the business in seven of the assignments.  In total, these 12 transactions represented more than 5 million square feet for clients, including Maytag, Target, Home Depot Supply, Dorel Juvenile Products and Young’s Market Company.  The team received the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) Award for the largest land transaction in 2006, largest lease transaction in 2007 and the award for the largest sale transaction in 2008.

Over his long career, Mr. Chenoweth has transacted over 900 sales or leases for more than 85 million square feet and has sold more than 750 acres of land, for a total consideration in excess of $3 Billion.

Mr. Chenoweth was recognized as one of California’s top brokers in 2009, according to industry trade publication Real Estate Southern California and the California Real Estate Journal.  He is frequently quoted in the trade and general market business press, providing expertise on industry / market trends and issues.
