Brian Barasch joined CBRE Ontario in June 2005 after spending over 12 years in the telecommunications industry. In New York, Mr. Barasch worked for NYNEX (now Verizon) managing Fortune 50 accounts such as General Motors/EDS, owner of the world’s largest private data network. Brian made the move to Los Angeles in 1997 to join MCI as National Account Manager where he won a national RFP from Kaiser Permanente, the largest HMO in the country.

Seeking international exposure, Brian joined Concert, a joint venture between AT&T and British Telecom. As Global Account Manager he traveled to the Far East, South America and Europe handling network sales in the manufacturing sector (automotive) and driving Honda into the top five accounts worldwide. In all, his telecom industry experience was truly local to global.

Brian’s extensive corporate sales background lends itself well to developing new business in the Inland Empire North (IEN) which is poised for explosive growth. In effort to maximize CB Richard Ellis market share, Mr. Barasch has joined Darla Longo’s team to bring institutional developers and buyers to the region. His hard work has paid off as Mr. Barasch was named 2007 Rookie of the Year for Greater Los Angeles.
