Indian Wells Tennis Garden
Excess Land

The Challenge
The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home to the Pacific Life Tennis Tournament, had 64 acres of excess land surrounding the Tennis Stadium in Indian Wells, California.  Due to restructuring of the ownership of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, it was imperative that escrow be entered with a development company that would conclude the sale.
The Solution

Maggie Montez and John Boyd of CB Richard Ellis completed a brochure detailing the land availability then distributed it to developers throughout the United States.  Within thirty days, multiple offers were received for portions or all of the land.  This allowed Ownership the opportunity to interview multiple buyers and select the developer they felt most likely to complete the sale.

The End Result

The Indian Wells Tennis Garden excess land went into escrow at higher than the asking price.
