Jim Neil has been active in the multi-housing industry for 18 years. He and the San Diego Multi-Housing team specialize in helping owners add value by navigating the land entitlement process on their behalf. Their relationships with City Staff and Government Officials, as well as engineers, architects and consultants, ensures that projects are given efficient and thoughtful consideration.

During the last two years, Mr. Neil has been involved in the sale of more than $500 million of multifamily transations throughout San Diego County.

Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis in 2002, Mr. Neil spent 5 years as the Chief Financial Officer for Southwest Affordable Housing where he was responsible for the acquisition, financing and operations of both conventional and low-income multi-housing properties in San Diego and San Bernardino Counties.

Mr. Neil also served as Chief Financial Officer for 21st Century Oil, Inc. where he was responsible for planning and negotiating the acquisition and financing of gas stations and convenience stores throughout Southern California.
