Mark Read serves as the Senior Managing Director for CB Richard Ellis’ San Diego Region, a leadership role he has held since 1998. Mr. Read leads over 220 employees, including 100 sales professionals, across multiple service lines including brokerage, investment properties, corporate services, debt & equity finance, asset services, project management and valuation and advisory services. He is responsible for the successful integration of these business lines for the benefit of CBRE’s clients. The varied expertise of these complementary services creates intellectual capital that helps our clients seize opportunities and make highly informed decisions.
Mark has over thirty years of experience in commercial real estate and has been recognized for superior achievement in both sales and management. Under his leadership, the San Diego Region of CBRE is consistently one of the company’s leaders in creativity, client service and performance.
In recent years, the San Diego Region has implemented a “blue ocean strategy”. Golf and resort properties, senior housing (investment properties and debt equity finance), religious facilities, hotel debt equity finance and the carbon group have all leveraged the CBRE platform to provide world class, highly specialized service to their clients from San Diego.
