Brian Kirby is a Financial Analyst for the National Senior Housing Services Group, based in San Diego. Mr. Kirby joined the Senior Housing Group in 2005, and specializes in the valuation and marketing of a wide variety of property types in the real estate, senior housing, and healthcare related industry. Prior to joining the CB Richard Ellis Senior Housing group, Mr. Kirby worked for an appraisal firm specializing in senior housing. Experience includes appraisal and consulting assignments for proposed and existing properties, including nursing homes, senior apartments, assisted living, skilled nursing, Alzheimer’s, medical office buildings, surgery centers, office buildings, and vacant land. Assignments have been conducted throughout the United States. Interests appraised include fee simple, leased fee and leasehold. Mr. Kirby’s expertise has been used by clients for lending, litigation support, asset allocation, due diligence, lease negotiation, tax appeals, bankruptcy, trust and estate proceedings, market and site selection.
