Millennium Pharmaceuticals
Challenge

To secure a campus facility in South San Francisco that will provide Millennium the potential for long term growth while minimizing leasing costs. The Life Sciences Group - San Francisco Peninsula was faced with the following constraints:

  • Limited availability of both existing space and development sites
  • Complicated existing lease structure
  • Fluctuations in growth projections
  • Minimal capital improvement costs
Solution
Extended existing lease at "below market" rate with expansion opportunities. CB Richard Ellis developed a facility analysis process with Millennium and continues to benchmark and evaluate Millennium's facility needs.
