Challenge
The client was looking to simplify his portfoliio while maintaining a high asset value. He had been approached by a prospective buyer with an offer to purchase one large asset in his portfolio. The client was considering the offer but did not feel that it was a strong offer. He turned to CB Richard Ellis to validate his concern that the offer was below market.
Solution

By selecting CB Richard Ellis, he was able to accurately price the property and locate a buyer within a short period. Since the building's tenant would be vacating in a few months, it was important to avoid a lengthy sales process.

Within one month, the property was put in contract for $750,000 more than the original offer to the client. The client was able to achieve his primary objective of shifting his investment portfolio into a different asset type with less exposure to risk.
