As Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis’ (CBRE) South Bay office, John Hollingsworth leads the company’s business development and service delivery efforts in one of the most active commercial real estate markets in the world. South Bay office professionals completed over $90 million in sale and lease transactions in the last two years  across industrial, office, investment and corporate real estate services assignments—and the office has been the dominant brokerage services firm in the market for over 40 years.
 
The South Bay office is the base for some of the top CBRE teams in the nation, including 130 professionals across 7 service lines. It is home to the Kevin Shannon team, CBRE’s top producing investment team on the West Coast in 2006, 2007, and 2008, which has sold and marketed more than $16 billion of investment assets. The office also serves a large number of major corporate accounts, including Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Aerospace, Nissan and Tyco.

Mr. Hollingsworth guides the South Bay professionals in accessing the services and resources of CBRE’s unrivaled global platform to best meet the needs of their clients. He is responsible for the office’s business development strategy; recruiting, retaining and developing the best talent in the industry; and ensuring a financially sound and growing business.

Prior to joining the South Bay office, Mr. Hollingsworth led CBRE’s Los Angeles Central market, serving as Managing Director of one of the largest industrial markets in the country. While there he was awarded the company’s prestigious National “Turnaround Award” for highest annual growth in revenue of all U.S. offices.

With over 20 years in the business, Mr. Hollingsworth draws from his diverse background in development, investment sales, property dispositions, project marketing, and strategic planning when advising the South Bay professionals and many of their larger institutional and corporate clients. He is well versed in all aspects of commercial real estate and a widely respected CBRE leader.

Prior Experience
15 years as a leading industrial specialist in the San Gabriel Valley market.
Successfully completed more than 500 transactions.
