Chris Phenicie has 16 years of transactional experience encompassing over 12 million square feet of space. He has extensive experience in all facets of commercial brokerage including landlord representation and leasing, tenant representation and corporate services, asset sales and underwriting, and new ground-up development.
LANDLORD REPRESENTATION AND LEASING: Chris has been active throughout the Denver market, including listing over 3 million square feet of assets in the CBD, 3 million square feet in the Interlocken market and 2 million square feet in the Denver Tech Center. His clients include Prudential, Goldman Sachs, Franklin Street Partners, Crescent Real Estate Equities and Legacy Partners.
TENANT REPRESENTATION AND CORPORATE SERVICES: Chris has a diverse background of tenant representation, both on a local level and with corporate services clients. His corporate services background includes leading major accounts such as PeopleSoft, Oracle and 360Networks. He has also been a local liaison for national accounts such as Lucent Technologies, GTE, Honeywell, Epsilon and Kronos. Chris has executed transactions in over 20 different markets from as small as 1,000 sf to over 600,000 sf.
ASSET SALES AND UNDERWRITING: Chris has been very active with asset dispositions during his career. Several clients also regularly utilize Chris’ disposition and leasing expertise in the underwriting of new acquisitions.
LAND SALES AND DEVELOPMENT: Chris has vast experience with new project development and is a niche expert in the market regarding build-to-suits and spec buildings. Throughout his career, Chris has been involved in the development of over 20 new projects totaling over 2.4 million square feet and has sold over 200 acres of land.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Chris was a broker with Trammell Crow Company for over 3 years and Cushman & Wakefield for 9 years. Additionally, Chris spent two years co-owning his own commercial real estate firm, Commercial Colorado, with his partner J. David Hart.
Additionally, Chris has published articles on real estate issues and has lectured to various industry groups.
