Mr. Mackney specializes in commercial investment and development sales, working with buyers and sellers in the valuation and marketing of commercial real estate development opportunities. Mr. Mackney works with private and institutional clients to minimize time, risk and expense throughout the development process. He is primarily responsible for uncovering development opportunities and marketing client properties in the Washington Metro region.
Mr. Mackney joined CB Richard Ellis in 2005 after five years with a prominent local development company. He was actively involved in the acquisition, financing, repositioning and sale of two office condominium projects in Northern Virginia totaling 150,000 square feet, recently sold a 19 acre mixed-use development site at Alexandria’s Potomac Yard, and currently has a 9 acre residential and retail project under contract in Manassas. He has been involved in the sales and leasing of retail, office and residential investment opportunities for clients throughout Metro Washington D.C.
He is a former Registered Securities Principal and has extensive experience in the capital and finance Markets.
