John Germano is Executive Managing Director for CB Richard Ellis’ Mid-Atlantic Region. He oversees all aspects of the firm’s commercial real estate business in the region stretching from Baltimore, MD to Norfolk, VA. This region has full service offices in Baltimore, Bethesda, Washington, McLean, Charlottesville, Richmond, Norfolk and Newport News. Mr. Germano has managed the growth of this region’s business since the 2003 merger with Insignia/ESG and the 2006 merger with the Trammell Crow Company. During his tenure, the company’s service offerings have expanded beyond traditional Brokerage to include Asset Services, Project Management, Capital Markets, Global Corporate Services, Valuations & Appraisals and Real Estate Tax Consulting for all commercial product types: office, industrial, retail, multi-family and hotels. Across the region, CBRE dominates market share in nearly every service line it offers.
Mr. Germano’s diversified career includes a background in leasing, investment sales and asset services. He has built a strong reputation based on providing superior client service. He continues to enhance the firm’s delivery of real estate services to customers by possessing a thorough understanding of market dynamics and client objectives. Mr. Germano has an extensive record of success in creating teams of high caliber professionals who are armed with the best support and technology in the industry, and focusing these resources to resolve client issues.
Mr. Germano began his 19-year career in commercial real estate at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he rose to the position of Regional Manager for the Metropolitan Washington area. Immediately prior to his current position, he served as Executive Vice President for Insignia/ESG’s Baltimore-Washington region, responsible for all brokerage and business activity.
