Maury Zanoff is responsible for co-managing the debt & equity team at CBRE for the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Zanoff has over 18 years of institutional real estate experience and has executed over $40 billion in real estate equity and debt deals. Mr. Zanoff and Joe Donato are the only two partners who both rank as Top 10 producers nationally [2004-2010]; and structure many of the most high profile and complex transactions in the Mid-Atlantic and throughout the US.
Prior to CBRE, Mr. Zanoff structured joint venture equity and conventional, bond and FHA debt for Clark Enterprises’ [Bethesda, MD] development projects, as well as developed public bond offerings for large public-private projects and military housing privatizations. Prior to Clark, as an Associate for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Mr. Zanoff was responsible for the financial analysis in advising pension funds, nonprofits and local and national governments on the purchase, financing and disposition of real estate.
Mr. Zanoff was a Financial Analyst with Goldman Sachs & Company’s Whitehall Funds with geographic focus from Richmond to New York. Mr. Zanoff began his career at CRIIMI MAE, Inc. as an Analyst/Underwriter. During his tenure at CRIIMI MAE, he supported the senior team through development of a CMBS lending platform in coordination with Citigroup and acquired B-Pieces in more than $2 billion in bonds controlling over $33 billion on 6,000 properties.
