Javier Marquina started his CBRE career in 1996, when he joined the Madrid Office in Spain. In 2000 he moved to Miami to join the Latin America & the Caribbean Regional Office as Director for Investment Properties. He developed this role until 2005, when he became one of the three regional Directors with responsibility over Capital Markets, Consulting and Regional Operations.
His responsibilities in the Latin American region include the introduction of international investors to the region, acquisition and disposal consultancy in those countries where CB Richard Ellis does not have a direct presence, and to act as support and coordinator for Investment, Valuation and Consulting assignments when more than one country is involved. Javier has worked on behalf of various German Open Ended Funds, as well as European investors seeking an entry into the Americas.
Javier’s regional operation responsibilities include the supervision of new offices, as well as the expansion of business lines in the existing offices around the region.
