Bruce is a member of the Senior Housing Group, specializing exclusively in investment sales and acquisitions of Senior Housing facilities on a national basis. Bruce has been involved in numerous portfolio and single-asset sales of operating properties as well as in the sale of many development sites around the country. These sales have ranged from high-end facilities and development sites to foreclosures and note sales.
He joined CB Richard Ellis in 1993 as a member of the Financial Consulting Group, working on over 100 sale, lease and consulting transactions. Bruce was responsible for developing the group's models for analyzing client transactions including investment sales, lease restructurings, lease versus own and sale leasebacks.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Bruce spent 3 years as a Financial Analyst with a San Diego developer of retail, office, industrial and residential property. In addition to development activities, Bruce was also responsible for evaluating the performance of properties relative to the portfolio and making hold/sell recommendations based on that performance.
Bruce also spent 3 years with the Simon Property Group, the nation's largest shopping mall developer. Bruce was responsible for the financial aspects of several major projects including the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN ($625 Million, 4.3 million square feet) and the Forum Shops at Caesar's in Las Vegas. Bruce's work also included joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions.
