Casey Rosen co-leads CBRE’s six-person National Retail Investment Group Florida Team which focuses on the sale of retail properties. In 2008, this team was involved in 2 of the 10 largest shopping center sales nationwide as reported Real Capital Analytics (RCA) and accounted for 21% of CBRE's retail property sales for the year. Mr. Rosen and his partner, Dennis Carson, were CBRE’s Top Brokers - South Florida Region in 2008 and Mr. Rosen was South Florida Daily Business Review’s Top Deal Maker of the Year for Retail in 2008 (with Dennis Carson) and 2010.
 
Mr. Rosen joined CBRE in November of 2007, as part of the company’s acquisition of Blackrock Retail Property Advisors (BRPA) which was a regionally oriented shopping center investment sale boutique that he co-owned and co-founded with Dennis Carson in 1996. Before the formation of BRPA, Mr. Rosen co-headed a multi-property type investment sale business unit within the Trammell Crow Company (TCC) in Florida. Mr. Rosen came to TCC through its 1994 acquisition of the Brandon Company - a leading retail management and leasing firm in which Dennis Carson and he created an investment sale business in 1993.
 
Mr. Rosen began his career in the commercial real estate finance group at Chemical Bank in New York City where he was an Analyst then Associate involved in the sale of bank owned real estate, real estate investment banking, loan restructuring and appraisal. He completed Chemical Bank’s credit training program, has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and graduated from the Bronx High School of Science.
