Randy Buddemeyer, Managing Director, is responsible for new business development, acquisition, supervision, and administration of the Asset Services Division in Florida.  Mr. Buddemeyer joined CB Richard Ellis as a result of the July 2003 merger with Insignia/ESG, where he served as Executive Director of Property Services, and was relocated to run the Florida Asset Services division in January 2004.  Florida Asset Services has grown under Mr. Buddemeyer’s management from 20 million square feet to in excess of 38 million square feet with 300 full-time employees.  In addition to the management portfolio, Mr. Buddemeyer is the practice leader for agency office leasing for the state.  Randy was the first professional in CB Richard Ellis to be awarded the Market Leader of the Year Award, in which he earned the award in 2004 for all his contributions not only to the markets led, but for the overall impact to CB Richard Ellis North America.

Prior to joining the Florida group in January 2004, Randy was the Managing Director of Asset Services at CB Richard Ellis in Washington, DC.  In this capacity, he was responsible for all property services operations in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area (Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and Maryland), and all asset leasing for a management portfolio of approximately 15 million square feet of office, retail, industrial, and engineering services.  At Insignia/ESG, Mr. Buddemeyer expanded the firm’s management portfolio by approximately 70% while playing an instrumental role in many of Insignia’s national initiatives, such as establishing Best Practices and serving as executive committee for the firm’s Vendor Alliance Program.  Prior to his role as Executive Director, he had direct oversight of all leasing and asset management activities for approximately 3.5 million square feet o commercial space throughout the Metropolitan Washington, DC area.  This portfolio included such notable Class A projects as the Warner Theater and 2001 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW both of which he directed from initial development.

Previously in his 19-year career in commercial real estate, Mr. Buddemeyer presided over the management operations for The Farr Corporation, a major local commercial real estate development and management company.  Under his direction, he returned the management operation to profitability and substantial profit margins.
