Chad Burd is a First Vice President of CBRE’s Global Industrial Services Group in Atlanta, representing national industrial companies in the Southeast and other markets. Mr. Burd employs a depth of practical business experience that helps integrate his client’s real estate and business objectives. His extensive experience in sales, management and operations allows him to provide his clients with a unique perspective throughout the acquisition and disposition process.

Along with his business partner David Nixon, Mr. Burd utilizes a wide range of experience and expertise to advise his clients. Mr. Burd and Mr. Nixon boast a strong track record managing local and national acquisition and disposition programs. Their ability to price the asset, select the right local market experts and provide strategic advice to corporate clients sets this team apart from traditional brokers.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Burd worked with the Georgia-Pacific Corporation. During his 12-year career with the company, Mr. Burd held numerous sales and management positions, including National Account Executive for The Home Depot and other large national retailers. He has also led sales management and customer care operations in Georgia Pacific’s distribution division.

Mr. Burd is active in the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and the Turnaround Management Association. He served eight years in the Army National Guard and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from North Dakota State University.
