Joanne Thompson is the Director of Operations for CBRE’s Asset Services Group in Atlanta. She supervises and supports a group of real estate managers and their staff with a portfolio in excess of 5 million square feet, mostly office product. In addition, Ms. Thompson maintains strong relationships with each of the clients, the majority of which are institutional. Ms. Thompson also offers oversight for the business planning and reporting at each of the properties and is responsible for transitioning new business and dispositions, as well as ensuring the implementation of and adherence to CBRE’s standards and policies. Ms. Thompson has been with the firm since 1984, and she has been involved in real estate management for more than 27 years.
Prior to her role as director, Ms. Thompson handled the management of many property types, including office, flex, industrial, medical and retail space for a variety of clients including Invesco Real Estate, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, JP Morgan, TIAA and the Archon Group. She was accountable for all financial reporting and budgeting, property marketing, leasing and engineering team management. Before joining CBRE, Ms. Thompson worked for Cushman & Wakefield.
