George Lacey is a First Vice President with CB Richard Ellis, Inc. in the Honolulu office. He has been with CB Richard Ellis since 1997 and is responsible for leasing and sales of both commercial and investment properties. George's past experience includes both tenant and landlord representation in addition to buyer and seller representation for investment sales transactions.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, George worked in the vacation ownership industry for fifteen years.
Prior to his vacation ownership career, George worked in the travel industry in the Mediterranean and traveled extensively through Asia.
Since joining CB Richard Ellis, George diversified his experience by working in both the industrial and the retail markets.
In the industrial field, George currently represents owners ranging from small, family owned properties to institutional portfolios such as Kamehameha Schools. George currently represents Kamehameha Schools in the leasing of their Kalihi and Kakaako portfolios. The Kamehameha School's portfolios represent over 1,200,000 square feet of industrial property.
In the retail field George represents, among others, Pioneer Ace Hardware and The Daiei (USA), Inc. Pioneer Ace Hardware retained George as their exclusive representative for the leasing of their newest retail development; Ace Centre at Kapolei. The Daiei has retained George for a realignment of their retail tenants within all of their Hawaii stores. Their Hawaii stores represent over 300,000 square feet of retail space.
George is currently working with major national retail and industrial accounts in leasing, sales and purchases. George specializes in adding asset value to multi-tenant properties prior to their sale.
Additionally, George has been consulted on investment properties that include international hotel projects.
