Professional Experience

Joe Haas is Senior Vice President Investment Services of CBRE in Hawaii and a member of the Portfolio Advisory Group.  He joined CBRE (known then as Coldwell Banker) in 1987 as a Senior Associate of office properties. Mr. Haas has more than 30 years experience in the commercial real estate industry.

The CBRE Portfolio Advisory Group (PAG) was created to provide investors an opportunity to broaden their investment portfolios with direct investments in real estate in addition to assisting existing real estate investors with the expansion, disposition and management of their existing real estate portfolios.  The PAG group understands that each investor's objectives are unique and is capable of modeling its services to address specific requirements.

2012 marks Haas’ 25th anniversary with CBRE.  The first 15 years as a highly successful broker and the last 10 years as Senior Managing Director of the Hawaii Region.  During his leadership, CBRE Hawaii (then an affiliate office), grew to be the number one commercial real estate company in Hawaii, quadrupled revenue, tripled the number of employees and expanded full service operations to all the major Hawaiian Islands and Guam.  This success culminated in the sale of the Hawaii operation back to CBRE, Inc at a multiple twenty times higher than the cost of acquisition.

Joe's intimate knowledge of the CBRE global platform, its service line leaders and understanding of the commercial real estate business allows him to access and apply the supervision and support services necessary where and when they are needed by our clients.
