Joseph “Joe” Haas is the Principal Broker and President/Senior Managing Director and a principal of CB Richard Ellis, Inc.  He joined CB Richard Ellis (known then as Coldwell Banker) in 1987 as a Senior Associate of office properties. Mr. Haas has more than 26 years experience in the commercial real estate industry. 

Haas is responsible for the statewide commercial real estate operations of CBRE Hawaii.  Additionally, he is involved in the creation of management line teams and business line teams that provide individualized commercial real estate services for clients that focus on Hawaii’s unique marketplace.

Since 2002, Haas has led the firm in an aggressive and successful expansion and has been instrumental in improving the way the firm conducts business, manages its operations and meets the needs of its clients.

Under Haas’ leadership, CBRE Hawaii expanded its operations to full-service brokerage offices on all four of the major Hawaiian Islands, increased the number of employees by 60 percent, and directed a four-fold increase in revenues.

“Upon entering the new century, it became apparent that our clients required real estate services throughout the Hawaiian Islands, in addition to the U.S. mainland and the world,” said Haas. “CBRE Hawaii has grown in response to that demand and is now the premier real estate firm on three of the four major Hawaiian Islands,” he added.
