Kukui Grove Center is a 330,000 square foot open-air regional mall located in Kauai County anchored by Macy's, Sears, Longs Drug, and Star Market.   Built in 1982, the mall suffered from termite damage, weak economic conditions after Hurricane Iniki (1992), and from increased competition from new strip and resort shopping centers.  Retail
 
In March of 1997, CB Richard Ellis was given the assignment to exclusively sell the commercial office/retail space at Harbor Court, located at 55 Merchant Street in Honolulu's central business district.   Harbor Court is a mixed-use leasehold condominium consisting of 201,000 square feet of Class A office/support retail, 120 luxury 2 bedroom/2 bath leasehold condominiums, and a 1,058 stall parking structure which opened in 1994.  Office
 
 
In September 1988, CB Richard Ellis (then Coldwell Banker Commercial) was hired to exclusively lease and sell Airport Center, located at 3049 Ualena Street. 
 
At that time Airport Center was a 35% vacant leashold property and the building generated a negative cash flow.   The listing price was established at $8,800,000 (Leasehold).   Office
 
 
In March 1987 BetaWest, Inc., a development arm of U.S. West, with C. Itoh and Citybank (Hawaii) broke ground on a new 180,034 square foot leasehold office building located in downtown Honolulu at 201 Merchant Street.  That month, CB Richard Ellis (then Coldwell Banker Commercial) was hired to exclusively lease the project named City Financial Tower.  Office
 
 
 
 
The Shops at Wailea
The Shops at Wailea is a showcase of unique architecture reminiscent of yesteryear, breathtaking water features, mezzo termine courtyard, and meticulously manicured lanscape.  CB Richard Ellis coordinated pre-opening asset services between the developer, the general contractor, the architect, and each tenant's
build-out team to affect an opening of the entire center on December 1, 2000. Retail
 
This transaction posed many challenges for the CB Richard Ellis team including, site configuration, building improvement costs, and a nearby U.S. Military base closing. Retail
General Nutrition Corporation engaged CB Richard Ellis to facilitate expansion on all the major Hawaiian Islands. Retail
