Mr. Timothy Brauer joined CB Richard Ellis in February 2006. As a partner on CBRE Chicago’s management team, Brauer jointly controls operations that include more than 750 employees and span five local offices. He oversees the Chicago Industrial Services Group (Brokerage), which includes 33 Industrial Brokers, and co-leads the Chicago Retail Services Group (Brokerage), which is comprised of 29 Retail Brokers. He is also responsible for the operations of CBRE’s north suburban office in Bannockburn.
Over the course of his 20-year tenure in the industry, he has held positions in office, retail and industrial brokerage, asset management, development, and marketing. Prior to joining CBRE, he worked for the Estate of James Campbell from offices in Kapolei, Hawaii and San Francisco, California. While in California he managed portfolios located in Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix, and participated in the acquisition and disposition of 30 properties valued at $235 million. While living in Hawaii, he helped develop a new city on the island of Oahu named Kapolei, providing marketing and management expertise in matters pertaining to office, retail, and industrial properties, as well as public facilities.
