Michelle Needles is currently Director, Transaction Management at CB Richard Ellis, joining the firm following its 2006 merger with Trammell Crow Company. In this role, Ms. Needles provides multi-market transaction services to corporate clients in support of their business goals and operating strategies. Her responsibilities include leveraging market opportunities, strategic portfolio alignment, complex financial analysis, and lease negotiation. Currently, Ms. Needles plays a key role in the management of the American Express portfolio in the Americas as well as the IKON Office Solutions real estate portfolio in the U.S. and Canada.

Professional Experience

Ms. Needles brings a broad range of commercial real estate experience to her role, including transaction management, lease administration and strategic planning. Prior to joining Trammell Crow Company in 2004, Ms. Needles worked with Insignia/ESG (now CB Richard Ellis) as a Senior Portfolio Administrator responsible for the transaction management and lease administration of five corporate real estate accounts. Previous to her time at Insignia/ESG, she was a Senior Lease Administrator with Equity Office Properties, where she was a team leader in the $4.8 billion Wilson Cornerstone/Equity Office merger.

Michelle is a member of the Executive Committee and the Chair of the Professional Development Committee of the CB Richard Ellis Hispanic Network Group (http://www.cbre.com/HNG/). The Hispanic Network focuses on building meaningful relationships amongst CBRE Hispanic employees and the community, leveraging entrepreneurial capabilities, increasing professional development and creating business opportunities. The goals of the Hispanic Network are to provide its members networking and information exchange opportunities; create opportunities for individual career development; recruit more minorities into the company; and position the Hispanic Network as a vehicle for community service and outreach.
