Nate Sahn is currently a First Vice President at CB Richard Ellis Hotels, joining the firm in July 2003 following its merger with Insignia/ESG. As a member of the Hotel Group, which successfully transacted 158 hotels during 2007/2008 with a total sales consideration of $3.5 billion, Mr. Sahn is based in the firm’s Chicago office and works on national hotel advisory and disposition projects, specializing in single asset and small portfolio transactions.
Throughout his career, he has actively participated in the disposition of over 200 hotels nationally, valued in excess of $800 million with such clients as Capital Crossing Bank, Exel Inns of America, Hospitality Specialists, Garot Hospitality, Kelly Inns, Kinseth Hospitality, Marcus Hotels & Resorts, and Tharaldson Development.
Mr. Sahn utilizes his hotel operational experience, hospitality education and financial analysis expertise to best serve the company and client's expectations. Involved in every aspect of the transaction process including hotel valuation, development of disposition strategy, oversight of the marketing process, solicitation and negotiation of offers and coordination of the due diligence process, Mr. Sahn ensures that the company's services are tailored to serve each client's specific commercial real estate needs.
Prior to CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Sahn was one of the original members of Insignia ESG/Hotel Partners, which he joined in 1998. With unique experience as a hotel manager for a boutique hotel in London, England, Mr. Sahn has valuable knowledge of the hospitality industry and hotel operations.
