Zurich North America needed to manage the execution of a sale/leaseback on its 808,000-square-foot Class “A” headquarters facility in Schaumburg, Illinois. Represented by Andrew Sandquist and Robert Brennan, Zurich was able to reduce its rent commitment by $75 million without foregoing sales proceeds. Closing was achieved seven days ahead of goal and precisely two months after CBRE’s hiring date.
Stanley Works wanted to maintain occupancy in its existing facility through continuing to lease rather that acquire and take ownership of the property as stated in their lease option. Andrew Sandquist and Robert Brennan, of the Net Lease Property Group, marketed the facility and negotiated a sale leaseback with a new, 10-year operating lease for Stanley Works.
