Joel Erickson is a Vice President in the Land Services Group with CB Richard Ellis, Inc., which he joined in October of 2008.

Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Joel held the position of Senior Vice President with NAI Hiffman Commercial Real Estate Services. While with the company he was involved in commercial property sales that included vacant land sales, leasing and tenant representation. Joel has prior experience as a retailer, commercial property manager, leasing manager, development manager and as a commercial real estate broker in property and corporate locations.

Joel began his real estate career with Homart Development, a subsidiary of Sears Roebuck & Company, as a commercial property manager. He later joined Federated Stores Realty as a leasing agent. In the three-year period he was with Federated, he generated over 100,000 square feet of new commercial lease commitments. After Federated he was employed by Heitman Financial Services where he was President and Chief Operating Officer of the retail properties division.

Joel commenced his commercial brokerage career in 1997 and worked independently on commercial lease and sales transactions until he joined NAI Hiffman in 2001. He has maintained a life-long interest in the agricultural section and has owned agricultural land since 1993.
