We are proud to present the 16th production of our annual Real Estate Market Study for the calendar year 2008, covering Northcentral Indiana and Southwest Michigan. The Market Study is a compilation of regional market data, published in an effort to fairly present the current status of the real estate market in St. Joseph, Elkhart, LaPorte and Marshall counties and Southwest Michigan, as well as provide an overview of several rural counties in Northcentral Indiana, all together known as "Michiana."

Our initial effort was produced in 1993, and we continue to produce this study annually to be distributed to those who are consulting with clients contemplating relocation or expansion of their business within the Michiana marketplace.

This year's Market Study provides a more comprehensive look at complete annual market trends. While our collection process has previously been based on a mid-year cycle, we are now compiling data on a full-scale annual basis. This means our market study data will better reflect the statistical changes that happen during the entire year, providing up-to-date and better comparative data sets for real estate decisions.
