CB Richard Ellis’ Investment Properties Group was pleased to have represented CB Richard Ellis Investors and California State Teachers Retirement System as the owner in the sale of Charlotte Plaza in Downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. The 625,026 sq. ft. building sold for $175.5 million. At its current occupancy of 98%, this transaction set the record for the lowest stabilized cap rate in the Charlotte market to date. CBRE Melody arranged financing for Hines Interests Limited Partnership.
Piedmont Town Center, Charlotte, NC
CB Richard Ellis’ Investment Properties Group is pleased to have represented Crescent Resources and Lincoln Harris in the sale of Piedmont Town Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The team negotiated the sale on behalf of the Owner, Crescent Resources and Lincoln Harris. This “best in class”, mixed use office and retail center is located in the upscale Southpark area of Charlotte, North Carolina. The property sold for $171 million.
RiverGate Shopping CenterCB Richard Ellis represented Childress Klein Properties in the recent sale of a joint venture interest in RiverGate Shopping Center to Los Angeles based CBRE Investors, a global real estate investment management firm. The transaction was handled by Mike Burkard and Steve Shields of CB Richard Ellis’ Charlotte office and Randy Fleisher of CB Richard Ellis’ Dallas office. Bill Hawthorne of CBRE | Melody secured permanent financing for the new ownership entity.
