Professional Experience
Heath Chapman is First Vice President at CB Richard Ellis through the merger of Trammell Crow Company. He is primarily responsible for tenant advisory services for local, national and global companies in fulfilling their office space requirements. Much of his success is derived from his ability to provide his clients with an arsenal of services, from strategic planning and comprehensive financial analysis to business plan consulting that can impact the bottom line. This sophisticated approach to the business allows him to assist clients in a long-term, strategic consulting role, versus simply finding space and negotiating a lease document from a one-off transaction perspective. Additionally, Heath focuses on select healthcare assignments which include project leasing, development, investment and consulting services.
Heath also maintains key client and tenant relationships and pursues new business development opportunities. He has completed numerous real estate transactions during his career. Before joining Trammell Crow Company and now CB Richard Ellis, Heath was Leasing Representative for publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Highwoods Properties, Inc., one of the largest owners and operators of Class A office space in the southeast, where he was responsible for the leasing an office portfolio encompassing nearly 1,000,000 square feet. This experience provides him unique insight into the landlord/owner perspective which creates tremendous value for his clients.
Heath is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and went to high school at Charlotte Country Day. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University and is active in the Wolfpack Club. He is 2011 President of the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA), a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is active at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, and enjoys triathlons, fly fishing, hunting and golf at Country Club of North Carolina in his free time.
He is married and has two children.
