Don Shupe joined CBRE in 2007 after 10 years as Director of Leasing and Marketing for CMD Realty Investors' Raleigh-Durham operations. With over 27 years of commercial real estate experience with an emphasis on Class A office leasing, Don has been involved in several hundred lease transactions involving many of the premier institutional grade corporations located within the Raleigh-Durham area.

Don has been past President of both the Research Triangle Chapter of NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties) and TRAOBA (Triangle Area Office Building Association), as well as a lengthy tenure on the Board of Directors for each respective organization.

In recent years, Don has been involved in several of the Raleigh-Durham area's largest lease transactions: HTC America Innovation's entry into the market; representation of the K&L Gates Law Firm’s Raleigh office; McKinney Advertising Agency's renewal at American Tobacco; the McAngus Goudelock & Courie Law Firm's expansion in West Raleigh; the relocation of the Brooks Stevens & Pope Law Firm; the renewal of Regus Business Centre's Durham office; the subleasing of a substantial portion of Misys Healthcare's Raleigh operations.

Don and his wife “Peanut” have twin 22-year old daughters and live in Cary, North Carolina.
