As Vice President of Asset Services for the Raleigh office, Ford has dual responsibilities: for providing property owners and investors of major office assets in the Triangle area with comprehensive leasing and marketing services; and with assisting corporate office space users achieve their real estate objectives in the Triangle region. He is directly responsible for overseeing all phases of the leasing and marketing processes, as well as developing and maintaining key client relationships. Additional responsibilities include disposition strategies and overall market analysis. Since joining Coldwell Banker Commercial (the predecessor to CB Richard Ellis) in 1980, Ford has accumulated over twenty-six years experience in the commercial real estate industry, with emphasis on leasing of Class A office properties and representation of corporate tenants. He has been involved in leasing transactions on over 4 million square feet of space. Before joining CB Richard Ellis, Ford was previously Senior Vice President for the Commercial Carolina Corporation, a Cushman & Wakefield affiliate. Since moving here from Silicon Valley, California in 1994, his experience includes eight years in senior marketing roles for both privately owned and publicly-traded development/asset management firms, including Duke Realty and Highwoods Properties, two of the largest owners of office properties in the Triangle.
