Mr. Parks was recruited into the CB Richard Ellis Wheel Program, considered the commercial real estate industry’s best training program. As part of his intensive training, he has been exposed to several lines of business including Investment Sales, Office and Corporate Services.  In 2004 Mr. Parks earned “Rookie of the Year” honors for the Las Vegas office and the Western Region of CBRE as the top producing first year sales person.  In 2007, the Las Vegas Business Press named Mr. Parks to its list of "Rising Stars in Business" recognizing his acomplishments.

Mr. Parks' brokerage activities in Las Vegas include the following high profile assignments / transactions:

  • On behalf of Sahara Condominiums LLC, the disposition of ±2.05 acres on the northeast corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Sahara Ave. to Steve Johnson for $47 million

  • On behalf of JGM Inc., the disposition of the ±1.4 acre Econo Lodge near downtown Las Vegas to Ben Moshe for $5.8 million. 

  • On behalf of Walsh Rivera Investment Partners LLC, the disposition of the Wild Horse Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado to Colorado Casino Resorts Inc. for $1,957,954.

  • On behalf of Tamares, the disposition of the Gold Spike Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas to Greg Covin, Trustee for $14.9 million.

  • On behalf of NGP Realty Sub, L. P., the disposition of the Las Vegas National Golf Course to MRE LV Golf LLC

  • On behalf of Northern Trust and Gordon Gaming, the sale of the Sahara Hotel & Casino to SBE/Stockbridge for $345 million.

  • On behalf of Northern Trust and Gordon Gaming, the disposition of +25.84 acres on the SWC Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara to MGM Mirage for $444 million.

  • On behalf of the Yarrow Trust the sale of 8.81 acres of lease encumbered land to Harrah’s for $85 million.

  • Represented Edge Resorts in the purchase of 18 acres at Harmon & Koval for $92 million, the former W Hotel site.

  • Represented Harrah’s Entertainment in the $164.5 million purchase of the 19.5 acre Desert Club Apartment property on Koval Lane.

  • Represented Harrah’s Entertainment in the purchase of 15.22 acres on Las Vegas Boulevard (former Westward Ho site) for $280 million.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment, the sale of the Las Vegas Hilton to Colony / Resorts International for $292 million.

  • On behalf of Caesars Entertainment, the sale of the Caesars Tahoe for $45 million.

  • On behalf of Harrah’s Entertainment, the sale of Binion’s Horseshoe for $20 million.
