Jedd Nero is an Executive Vice President with the New York Tri-state Region Retail Services Group. Prior to CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Nero was Executive Vice President with Newmark New Spectrum Retail, LLC where he formed the company’s Retail Services Division in 1995.
Mr. Nero is highly regarded as one of the top retail real estate professionals in the industry. He has over 20 years of experience completing retail transactions in New York City and throughout the United States for both tenants and property owners. As a tenant’s representative, his experience includes completing multiple national transactions for Hugo Boss, Diesel, Miss Sixty, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fila and Verizon Wireless. He was instrumental in securing flagship stores for Paul and Shark and Missoni along Madison Avenue’s “gold coast”, Kenneth Cole’s New York City flagship store on Fifth Avenue at Rockefeller Center, 7 prime locations for Lenscrafters, the disposition of 25 retail properties in Queens, Brooklyn and lower Manhattan for JP Morgan Chase and most recently securing a Fifth Avenue flagship for the Italian watch and jewelry designer Morellato and Sector.
Recently, Mr. Nero represented H&M in securing multiple locations throughout the New York metropolitan area and selected markets in the United States. Notable transactions include 20,000 square feet at 111 Fifth Avenue at 17th Street, 29,000 square feet at 150 East 86th Street at Lexington Avenue and 25,000 square feet at 505 Fifth Avenue at 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan.
In addition to Tenant representation, Mr. Nero has served as leasing agent for numerous prominent property owners. Recent accomplishments include reresenting the Moinian Group in the leasing of 3,500 square feet at 509 Fifth Avenue to Kira Plastinina, Muss Development in the leasing of 12,000 square feet at 64 West 48th Street to City Sports, Silverstein Properties in the leasing of 33,500 square feet at 1 River Place to Lucky Strike, the leasing of 16,000 square feet at 120 Broadway to Capital Grille and the leasing of 20,000 square feet at 529 Fifth Avenue to Best Buy.
His experience also includes representing Douglaston Development at 325 Fifth Avenue, representing Gallery Partners for an entire Madison Avenue block front between 77th & 78th Streets, Mitsui Fudosan at 1251 Avenue of the Americas and 100 William Street, The Statuto Group at 960 Avenue of the Americas and Starwood at 14 East 55th Street adjacent to the St. Regis Hotel.
