In 2007, Mr. Coven accepted the position of Director of Asset Services in the Cleveland Market. CB Richard Ellis manages five million sq. ft. of commercial, industrial and retail facilities as well as 2.7 million sq. ft. of medical office space in the Cleveland Market.
Mr. Coven specializes in sales, leasing and tenant representation in the acquisition and disposition of commercial industrial real estate. Since joining CB Richard Ellis in 1999, Mr. Coven has represented both lessors and lessees in the acquisition or disposition of over four million sq. ft. of commercial industrial property. With a combined sale or lease value of more than $200 million, Mr. Coven has represented buyers and sellers in the purchase or sale of buildings ranging in size from 18,500 to 500,000 sq. ft. and he has represented lessors or lessees in lease transactions ranging in size from 1,300 to 107,000 sq. ft.
Mr. Coven has negotiated leases on behalf of landlords with the following tenants: Pioneer-Standard, Sherwin-Williams, Iron Mountain, Best Buy Stores, Allen Bradley, MRI, Gallo Display, Dal-Tile, Cell Net, Imperial Wallcoverings, Harrington Industrial Plastics, Telarc International, and T-Mobile.
