In March of 2009, Building 1 is was demolished in order to create a pad site for  construction of the new data / technology facility. The new building will be tied in to the existing telecommunications facility (Buildings 2 and 3 above).  Now that Building 1 has been demolished, the remaining buildings will be refaced to match the architecture of the new construction.

With the advent of The Avenue District, mixed-use residential / retail project that is currently under construction directly south of the Cleveland Technology Center and northwest, the neighborhood will become an ideal work / play environment.  The Avenue District project will bring online 450+/- new residential townhomes.
