As Managing Director, Jack Norris is responsible for corporate business development as well as all regional business operations. His expertise in all areas of commercial real estate provides guidance for a CB Richard Ellis staff that is responsible for approximately 14.0 million square feet of space in an area encompassing Western/Central Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Maryland Panhandle, and West Virginia.
As the past Chief Operating Officer of Oxford Development Company, Founder and President of Tricor Realty Partners, Inc., founding President of Galbreath Company Mid-Atlantic, and founding Chairman and CEO of CB Richard Ellis/Pittsburgh, LP, and now Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis, Inc. Mr. Norris has spent over three decades accumulating a portfolio of accomplishments. Included are the design and development of over 8 million square feet of office space and commercial properties. He has extensive experience in directly negotiating professional service contracts, construction contracts, and major leases, as well as the negotiation of significant investment sales and financing strategies. This experience has encompassed single projects as large as 1.5 million square feet, and in excess of $160,000,000.
A former Director of Planning for Monroeville, PA, and a current leader in the Pittsburgh business community, Mr. Norris has memberships in the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, and NAIOP, among many others. He is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of LaRoche College, Chairman Emeritus of the National Kidney Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, and past Vice Chairman of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. He is the President of the Board for The Jabez Foundation, a member of the Pittsburgh Advisory Board of The Salvation Army (Chair of the Property Committee), former member of the Board of the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation, the Board of the Pennsylvania Economy League, past member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE), a past member of the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities Inc., President of the Board of School Directors for the Quaker Valley School District, a member of the Pittsburgh Economic & Industrial Development Corporation, and a past member of the Workforce Quality and Education Committee of the Allegheny Conference.
