Katie is an Associate specializing in transaction marketing and business development for office leasing at CBRE in Austin. Katie’s scope of responsibilities include: negotiations ecompassing all stages of the commercial transaction, identifiying and accurately reporting market condtions, strategic client consulting, new business pursuits and securing current and future client relationships.
Before relocating to Austin two years ago and joining the team at CB Richard Ellis, Katie was a leasing broker with Transwestern in Houston, TX where she oversaw an office portfolio of approximately 2.5 million square feet in several major submarkets. During her tenure at Transwestern, she secured solid relationships with clients including: Behringer Harvard, BGK Properties, Chase Merritt, Equastone and Mark I Properties. Prior to joining Transwestern, Katie worked in the commercial division of the Houston Association of REALTORS® where she was responsible for marketing, sales, business development, public relations, accounting, training and advertising. In addition to landlord representation, Katie has participated in several tenant representation transactions, as well as consulting services with owners in their company acquisitions totaling over $140 million in assets in Houston, TX.
Since 2005, Katie has completed over 300 lease transactions, representing
