Blockbuster needed to consolidate all of its national warehousing and distribution requirements into one location. They needed to support over 4,800 retail store locations out of this facility, both video and music/CD inventories. The facility needed to be located in a specific geographic radius of their employees homes and yet adjacent to major freeways.

Plastipak Packaging Inc., the third largest rigid-plastic manufacturer in North America, needed to increase production capacity at their Dallas/Garland manufacturing plant to accommodate Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola, and their newest client — Gatorade. The challenge was that increased production demand required additional warehouse space for storage of the plastic containers.
